Bringing Even More Chill to the Grateful Dead Legacy
The collaboration continues! Today, along with the Grateful Dead, in partnership with Warner Music Artist Services, we released a new, special-edition collection of Playmate coolers, backpack coolers and stainless steel tumblers inspired by the legendary band. Each product in the Grateful Dead lineup features a fresh take on iconic album artwork — from the famous dancing bears to the Steal Your Face design — showcasing a piece or rock ‘n’ roll history. Now there’s something for every Grateful Dead fan!
Through this collection, we’re honoring the Grateful Dead’s legacy, which includes new Playmate Classic coolers, Daytripper Backpacks and 16-ounce Stainless Steel Can Tumblers. Each product, made to keep drinks and/or snacks cold, features one of two designs made famous by the Grateful Dead’s album artwork: A colorful tie-dye print with dancing bears and the Steal Your Face lightning bolt on a skull symbol.
According to our chief marketing officer, Brian Garofalow, “Our head designer thought the collection could use a little touch of grey, but I think they turned out perfect.”
